In the near future, increasing entrepreneurial spirit among primary school students can generate a different generation of young people who not only do not have expectation for employment but also can create job for other people..
For this reason, these thoughts, from the same adolescence, should be inserted into science and education centers. In the last week, University of Tehran, Faculty of Entrepreneurship, headed by Dr. Mohammad Reza Zali, held a conference entitled “Entrepreneurship Development with Emphasis on Improving the Business Environment” and invited guests from both local and international experts in the area of entrepreneurship. In this line, achievements, experiences and the latest scientific methods were shared with students and entrepreneurs. The aforementioned faculty is playing a vital role in nurturing Iranian people to be successful entrepreneurs in the future. KASHEF program, for instant, is one of the activities under faculty of entrepreneurship’s umbrella that is trying to train future entrepreneurs since childhood.
Ms. Datin Rosnani Jusoh from UPM, Malaysia is one of the prominent speakers and professors invited to the conference. On a trip to Tabriz, an opportunity was appeared to discuss about this conference and other issues.
She is a university professor in entrepreneurship, who is in addition to research and teaching, has had practical experience in the field of entrepreneurship. She has valuable experiences that can certainly be very valuable and influential in transferring it to the younger generation of society.
*** Entrepreneurship thinking must be institutionalized in primary schools
Dr. Datin Rosnani stated that entrepreneurial belief, thinking and behavior should be passed in to students from the very early childhood in primary schools. She said: “If we educate children with creative and dynamic minds, we will surely have a young generation with ability to create job for themselves and millions of other people.
Dr. Datin Rosnani also said that there are laws in Malaysia that require relevant authorities to bring entrepreneurship to the schools, and if we think deeply, since this happened, a different generation raised up in Malaysia. Entrepreneurship has pulled the country out of the deadlock, which is the result of the same thinking and training system.
Dr.Datin Rosnani also emphasized that “In Malaysia, education is paying special attention, and children from the age of 7 to 17 should be given free education, and they do not pay for education and training”.
** The tax system of the country should be reasonable and logical
Dr. Datin Rosnani added that in Iran, there are a lot of brilliant and clever young people in addition to the huge natural resources. Under these condition, there is a need for a major economic and industrial jump in Iran, and it is possible to create a new job for millions of people.
This salient professor in the field of entrepreneurship also said that the existence of a systematic and rational tax system is considered as one of the ways of community development. If economic activists ensure that the tax directly will be allocated to the current problems of the country, they will certainly welcome it. She added that in Malaysia, approximately 25 percent of firms’ profits are paid to the government, with the government providing free treatment services, special support for deprived people, youth housing, support of low income people, and facilitating the marriage of young people.
*** Iran and Malaysia have a lot of common cultural aspects
Dr. Datin Rosnani said, referring to the common cultural aspects between Iran and Malaysia, both countries are Islamic countries and are considered to be friends and brothers based on the teachings of Islam. Another similarity is related to the safety and security. Similar to Malaysia, Iran is a safe country, which I myself have taken for granted as an example of security, and besides this, there is a very kind people who attract and admire me.
She also explained that “I also work in the tourism industry in Malaysia, and I will definitely introduce Iran as a tourist destination after returning to my country” .She added that, Iran has a lot of capacities in the tourism industry and also has a very valuable handicrafts, which has a high potential for wealth generation.
*** Easy marriage really happens in Malaysia
Dr. Datin Rosnani said in a conversation with other social and cultural issues in Malaysia, people can get loan easily and in addition, the people themselves will make marriage easy. Young people who do not have housing conditions at the beginning of their life, will stay with their families until independence and preparing needed facilities.
